Tracy Nielsen

Tracy Nielsen

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

Tracy holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration Management from Dallas Baptist University. She believes we all have a story that deserves to be delighted in and held with compassion and gentleness. Each story may include disappointment, grief, trauma, abuse, or shame. It might be a story of anxiety, confusion, guilt, or hopelessness. Tracy supplies a path toward growth and healing. She believes people deserve to be met right where they are, amid the pain and chaos, and chooses to view each individual uniquely.

She’s eager to work with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse populations. Her experience is with various mental health issues including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Eating Disorders, Self-Harm, Addiction, and Human Trafficking. Tracy’s hope is to help her clients live out the fullness of life by walking through pain to find their truest selves. She does that through using Lifespan Integration, Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, DBT, sand tray, play therapies, and the development of individualized treatment plans for each client.

Tracy values living life to the fullest. She’s lived in both urban and rural, taught English in India, ran marathons, and enjoys the simplicity of a cup of peppermint tea and a good book. She’s learned to slow down and embrace the various rhythms of life.
