Terra Johnson, RN, BSN
Terra is a graduate student at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology counseling program and previously received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington. Terra discovered her passion for developing relationships and listening to people’s stories while practicing as a nurse and navigating her own story. She believes healthy relationships are an integral aspect of overall health and well-being.
Terra enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Practicing from the standpoint that all people have the ability to improve their circumstances, she adheres to the approach that therapy is a collaborative partnership between client and therapist where the client’s story will be actively engaged to promote movement toward healing and wholeness. While a client’s individual needs determine the approach to counseling, Terra draws primarily from relational psychotherapy, attachment and systems theories.
Terra considers it an honor and a privilege to create a safe and caring environment to help clients navigate the unpredictable and difficult challenges life often brings our way.
