Haley earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona Christian University where she majored in Family Studies with a double minor in Theology and Behavioral Health. She then received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Whitworth University. Haley’s education and training while at Whitworth focused on couples, individual work, and families. Haley completed part of her internship at Union Gospel Mission working with women and children, working through anxieties, substance dependencies, traumas, and depression. Haley also completed part of her internship through Whitworth’s marriage and family therapy clinic where she gained experience with couples and individuals.
Haley believes that therapy is a way for individuals, families, and couples to express deep feelings without feelings of judgement or bias. She believes that the therapy room is a safe place to grow and learn more about who you are. Haley’s goal is to meet the clients where they are on their journey and be able to work through everyday issues. Haley enjoys growing with clients by learning new modalities to best meet them where they are on their journey.
Haley participated in externships for Gottman Couples Therapy level 1& 2, Lifespan Integration Level 1, as well as Emotion Focused Couples Therapy. Haley integrates Experiential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Lifespan Integration, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to her practice.
Haley enjoys working with all people of all backgrounds. Haley grew up in the Christian faith and enjoys working with people who also value spirituality. She works to best understand your goals, expectations, and strengths when in session. In her free time, she most enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing sports (especially golf), and loves to be up on the mountain skiing in the winter months.
