Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
Garrett received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Whitworth University in 2018, he then went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Whitworth University. Garrett works from a person-centered focus helping individuals and couples express and explore emotions in a safe environment. He utilizes methods such as The Gottman Method, Emotion Focused Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art/Play Therapy, Lifespan Integration, and Solution Focused Therapy within his practice. Garrett’s education and training from Whitworth University focused on individuals, couples and families. He has certifications in Gottman Level 1, Emotion Focused Couples Therapist and Lifespan Integration Level 1.
Garrett believes that therapy is a way for clients to be able to express and share their thoughts and emotions while feeling safe and heard without judgment. He aims to show his clients unconditional positive regard and compassion while meeting them where they are at no matter the life circumstances they may be facing.
In his free time Garrett enjoys spending time with his friends and family, being outdoors, playing and supporting sports such as soccer, football, and basketball, as well as playing tabletop games and video games.
