Counseling Intern
Baylee is a counseling intern currently working on her master’s degree at Eastern Washington University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington State University.
She primarily draws from person-centered and acceptance and commitment theories and therapy modalities, focusing on the insight that clients bring into the session and creating a relationship built upon compassion, unconditional positive regard, and empathy. She values the lived experiences of her clients and strives to create a safe and secure environment for all to feel welcome. Baylee has experience working in suicide prevention and teen substance use prevention through her service in AmeriCorps and is passionate about encouraging healthy, mindful living.
In her personal life, Baylee likes to spend quality time with friends, experiment with cooking, read a good book, and find time and space to meditate outdoors.
