Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Anna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University in 2020. Clients quickly feel comfortable with Anna’s approachable, calm, and nonjudgmental presence.
Previously, Anna worked with clients who experienced intimate partner domestic violence and, as a result, is passionate about working with survivors. She also enjoys working with people of all ages with a variety of concerns. Through counseling with Anna clients become more self-aware, experience acceptance, express and feel emotions more fully, and heal from trauma. She utilizes a variety of theories including Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Play Therapy. She often uses Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR) as a tool for healing.
Anna is aware that each client has unique needs and is affected by systems. She is collaborative with clients in planning their treatment and believes that clients are the experts on themselves.
Just as humans heal from scrapes and bruises, they are also capable of healing from emotional and mental wounds.
In her free time Anna can be found watering her plants, going on walks, listening to podcasts, trying new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.
