Ana graduated from Whitworth University with a master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate.
Ana strives to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their perceptions and beliefs, deepen their self-awareness, and recognize the profound connection between body and mind. She utilizes a person-centered approach, where therapist and client develop a strong collaborative relationship and where sessions are tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Ana seeks to provide a holistic, systemic, therapeutic experience by creatively utilizing evidence-based orientations like CBT, Trauma focused CBT, Internal Family Systems, Play therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Gottman and EFT for couples. Her goal is to equip clients with tools to improve communication, emotional regulation, acceptance, and self-compassion.
When she is not working with clients, Ana loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys reading, playing the piano, and roller skating.
