Amie has experience working with people of all ages with a diverse range of backgrounds. She is excited to provide services to individuals, families, and couples dealing with stress, anxiety, substance use disorders, depression, life changes, and trauma among other issues. She has worked in a variety of human service positions for more than 14 years helping youth and families.
She believes the best way to support a therapeutic environment is to treat everyone as a unique person. She believes people have an amazing capacity to change and remove barriers to growth. Her greatest joy is helping others discover their strengths, resiliency, authentic voice, and contentment. She approaches counseling from a whole-person health perspective which focuses on everyone’s unique needs.
Amie recently moved to the Pacific Northwest from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She enjoys spending time outdoors exploring, camping, and kayaking. She is the mother of four and loves spending time with her family.
