Alicia received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwest University, continuing on with and completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University in Spring of 2023. She integrates techniques from multiple theories including Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Alicia believes that clients will succeed when the client-counselor relationship is strong and the client feels heard, understood and respected. She works hard on creating a safe space for clients can work through past and present emotions.
Alicia enjoys working with all people, specializing in therapy with children to help them process and work through challenges of life. She takes pride in being there for each of her clients despite cultural differences including race, gender, socioeconomic status, or age.
In her free time, Alicia enjoys spending time outside with friends in family. Her hobbies include, softball, golf, paddle boarding and spending time with her dogs Finley, Kaya and Mazie.
