Everything You Need In One Place
Family Essentials Counseling is a comprehensive counseling center located in Spokane, WA. We have over 20 educated and experienced staff ready to help facilitate your particular needs.
We see all ages including children. We have dedicated art and sand tray rooms to expand the way we work beyond talk therapy. This is especially important when working with children and can be beneficial for everyone.

We take nearly every insurance plan, so you have financial support for your journey.
We offer online counseling services – covered by insurance - to meet your scheduling needs. This means you can be seen on your lunch hour in your office at work or from the comfort of your home.
Stages of Change
Throughout your journey of change, Family Essentials Counseling is here to support you in defining and reaching your destination whether it’s a healthier sense of self or stronger relationships, you can count on us to be with you every step of the way.

Pre Contemplation
Someone who cares about you may have suggested counseling.

Contemplation
You may have wondered if counseling would help.

Action
You’re ready to find a counselor.

Maintenance
You have participated in counseling in the past and found it helpful (or not) and need a new counselor.

After Care
You may need a tune-up or help fine tuning growth or change you’ve already created in your life.
COUPLES & FAMILIES
It’s important to have all the relationships in a family working well. Sometimes parents need help with their own relationship or in support for challenging parenting issues. At times the whole family can benefit from an external perspective.
CHILDREN & TEENS
Growing up is complicated and no two people do it the same way. Counseling can be just what you need to overcome a developmental conundrum that stumps both parents and children of any age.
INDIVIDUALS & GROUPS
Whether sitting one-on-one with a counselor who works directly with you and the issues your facing or in a group of people who are struggling with similar problems, counseling can create emotional scaffolding for you to move in new and positive directions.
